Hi all, hoping someone can help. I just changed my wireless router name and password. I went into the OJ display to adjust the settings and they were 'locked by administrator'. Long story short after some frustration trying other means I rest the wireless back to the old name and password to be able to run the printer again. I figured I would log in and disable all the administrator locks before changing it. HOWEVER I seem unable to connect to the printer through its IP address, I have checked to make sure its correct but no luck. Anyone have any suggestions, leaving the old name and password for any length of time is problematic.

Thanks

Greg

Hi Greg,

Try restoring the network defaults, that should also reset the Administrator PAssword:

To reset the administrator password and network settings:
1. On the printer control panel, touch the right arrow, touch Setup, and then touch Network.
2. Touch Restore Network Defaults, and then touch Yes.
A message appears stating that the network defaults have been restored.

Now reconfigure the wireless settings as following:

1. On the printer control panel, touch the right arrow, touch Setup, and then touch Network.
2. Touch Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the on screen steps.

Unfortunately no, the restore network defaults button is also locked out. Still an endless loop, no way to reset it and not much I can do without being able to log in as administrator. Usually (I believe) you can type in the IP address and access it that way but cant seem to do it......still trying everything I can think of but no luck.

Try turning off your printer and then turn it back on. Then enter you pass code. It work for after several attempts to enter a pass code.
