HP Officejet Pro 6830
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have an HP Officejet Pro 6830 Printer, which I use in my hostel.

This printer is available for everybody (also guests) through the local network, and the web interface is accessible also on the internet (port-forwarding on my router is enabled).

Usually, it happens that I need to scan a document remotely, asking the staff to put the document in the scanner, so I can use the web-scanner.

I want to make the web-interface accessible only to me.

I have setted-up a password, but it looks like it works only for the administration pages of the printer (ex. Wifi Setup, Settings, Preferences).

I need to setup the password to access the entire web interface, to let nobody access the printer through the web except me.

Before this, I had also 2 other HP Printers (such as Officejet 3834 which is lower class), and this functionality was available.

Is there any way to set up a password to restrict access to the entire web interface of HP Officejet Pro 6830?

Please help me!

Thank you
