Product: Officejet Pro 6835
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite

I have just recently had troubles with my Officejet Pro 6835 printer. It was running low on color ink but still printed in black ink just fine. I used it until the black ink started to fade. I didn't use it for a couple weeks and finally went and got new color ink cartridges. I installed them just how you are supposed to. I went to print something using the black ink and it printed a blank piece of paper. I ran a print quality report and it only used color ink. I ran multiple clean printhead tests, printhead alignment tests, and clear page smears test. There is ample amounts of ink in all 4 cartridges. Not sure what to do next. Will someone help me out please?

Have had printer for about a year changed black ink with an HP cartridge and it won't print black ink. Have run all of the trouble shooting instructions on HP site to no avail. Please help

Since you have done all the HP Web site items, try these Youtube videos here.

Search for more if needed.  If no joy your printer is toast.
