I have a 7612 that has an issue; printhead missing or some error message and the printheads are also not replaceable. Printer is only a couple years old but out of warranty. Is there a return program for that printer, similar to the 6835? I've done a search but haven't come across it yet. THX!

Sorry, I have not ever heard of any return program for failed printheads for the Officejet 7610 series. I assume you have already tried the rather sparse troubleshooting instructions here.

Got lucky. Put in a different set of ink cartridges and the printhead error went away. So far it's stayed away. I think one of the other set just wasn't seated quite properly and threw the error.

I tried that on my 7612 Officejet but still have th eproblem. All new cartridges did not solve the problem.
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement head for the 7612? I tried all the troubleshooting ideas, etc. and nothing is working. Thought I'd see if replacing the heads might work.
