Hi,
I am wondering if it is possible to download old versions of the HP Universal printer driver. The latest driver available June 2012 give me errors when I attempt to print to it. When I try and use an old HP 4000 printer specific driver there are no errors. I would like to test an older Universal Driver to see if it will allow me to print with out error.

Hi gilmorega,
HP only provides the most recent drivers available. However, I did some searching and came across, what I believe to be, a reputable forum:
http://www.sevenforums.com/drivers/176493-hp-universal-print-driver-win7-64-bit.html
The last post on the first page links to HP UPD 4.1. The link is broken, but I was able to find the files they refer to:
http://www.driverslib.com/Printer-Scanner/HP/Universal-Print.html
Keep in mind, I have not used the drivers myself, nor are they supported by HP. Hope this info helps.

Go to www.hp.com Enter the product name / number. Be sure to check the additional information, like how to install the driver or troubleshooting guides.
