Yesterday my HP Officejet 4630 e All-in-One printer went dark/blank and would not turn on. I tried different plug but still no power on. My laptop works fine but can't communicate to the printer (since it can't be turned on). Is there a fuse that can be replaced? Help!

Hello, @carjaced – Hope you are well 🙂
Welcome to the HP Forum! This is a wonderful location to converse with the community, get assistance and find tips!
I understand that your printer is not powering on. Try performing a power drain on the printer as suggested below:
- Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Remove USB cable, if present.
- Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
- Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer. Press the power button to get the printer turn on.
- Check if the printer is powering on.
If the issue persists, please contact the HP phone support to get further assistance or to get the printer serviced.
You can visit http://www.support.hp.com/contact-hp and fill in your product details to get the tech support number.
(1) Once the support page opens please select the country in which you're located. Next, enter your HP model number on the right.
(2) Next, choose the 'Contact Support' tab at the top and scroll down to the bottom of the 'HP Support- Contact' page to fill out the form provided with your contact information.
(3) Once completed click the 'Show Options' icon on the bottom right.
(4) Lastly, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select 'Get phone number.' A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
Those steps should do the trick, let me know the outcome!
Good luck 🙂

Unfortunately, after trying your suggestions three or four times over a 30 to 45 minute period my printer still doesn't work. Thank you for your help. There doesn't seem to be an easy way to get into the guts of the printer, which is probably a good thing, to check fuses, etc. I will check with HP support for other suggestions. Thanks again!
