HP Envy 5540
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

On the HP Envy 5540, how do you scan multiple page docs?   Manual says to start in printer mode, but does not say how to do that, or how to access the printer software from the control screen

Hi,

Click teh Start button, then select All Apps.

Select HP and open the HP Envy 5540 software.

Press on Scan a Document or Photo and select File to PDF.

Ensure the Show Scan Preview is selected and the scan resolution is 300 DPI or lower.

Click the Scan button, scan your next pages using the plus button below the scan preview.

Once you are done cick the Save button.

Regards,

Shlomi

Re: this question.  I have a 5540 and have in the past scanned multiple pages. Suddenly now the little icon with the + sign no longer highlights to allow me to scan another page.  All I can do is save the scan and scan the next page to another file.

There is no place to click on Show Scan Preview that I can see.  I checked to see what my resolution is and it is 600. I never changed it before so assume it has always been 600.
