I am trying to print business cards using the bypass tray on an HP 5225dn color laser printer. The business card sheet (Avery business cards) should be fed top edge first. The printer will feed the sheet through perfectly, however, the orientation is incorrect - printing the contents "sideways".
To remedy this, I attempted to put the sheet in long-edge first. The orientation of the text is correct, however, all content in the first column is blurred (as if the sheet is sliding while printing). This is probably why the instructions specify top edge first.
There are no settings in the print set up that allow me to select or designate a particular direction for the paper (clicking on "orientation" in the printer settings does not produce a correct print-out).
I suspected the template may be the source of the problem, but I experience the same dilemma on every document IF the paper in the bypass tray is top-edge first.
Please Help... 🙂 Thank you.
