Original CD software for LaserJet P1006

Could the original "HP LaserJet P1000 and P1500 Series" CD support both 32-bit and 64-bit Windows? I don't remember when I bought my LaserJet P1006, but I bought it new and the CD was copyright 2007. (I can't remember when 64-bit machines became available.)

Did you check the user guide for the details?

Have you attempted to look for drivers online if the CD isn't working for you?

I am not having a problem. I know about downloading drivers from HP and had already done so. My original posting was an attempt to determine whether the original CD (which I think now has drivers that have been updated/superceded since the CD was issued) supports machines that have 64-bit systems. Since my new computer is a 64-bit system and the P1006 works well with it, I was wondering about what the CD's contents would support. Thanks!

Yes, the CD is designed to support both 32bit and 64bit OS versions. Having said that I would strongly advise you use the online option to download the link since the drivers in the CD is completely outdated and we have the latest drivers available online.
