Hello Everyone,
My Office programe is 2010.
I am away from home at present and unable to access full details of my printer, please excuse this!
I have a problem when printing in that I always get a notice that the "text of section XXX is outside the printable area" (or words to that effect.)
The items which I regularly print usually contain either a border, which gets cut down one of the 4 sides or columns which likewise get affected, and if I click print which overrideds the 'stop,' then the result is as I described, part of the design is missing.
Is there a way to be able to override this "error" as it has been happening for a very long time!
I have tried changing the format to PDF and then printing, but it has no effect.
I have tried to change the margins, but no alteration seems to allow the page to be printed correctly.
If this question cannot be addressed without more detailed information of the printer, I will have to return to this forum when I return home in a couple of months.
Regards
Colin

Hello Guleria 123,
I believe so, yes!
After clicking "Print" in a Word document, a notice pops up stopping the printing process with words to the effect that 'text in section 1 (or something like that) is outside the printing area.' I have the option to continue or fix it. Neither option really does anything and if I continue the result is affected by one of the 4 sides' borders being reduced or missing.
The "Fix it" Option only advises different borders, and no available border chosen appears to actually "fix it"!
Regards
Colin

- Open a new Word document.
- Go to page setup:
- Set all margins to 0.
- Click OK.
- You'll get a message saying the margins are outside the printable area (the message may vary slightly depending on which version of Word you're using). ...
- Your printer's margins will now populate the margin fields.
