Hello All!
I have a very stubborn P3015 printer, and I've run out of ideas on how to troubleshoot it. Here's the scenario:
The printer is displaying a 13.20 error, citing a jam in the top cover area. I tried entering the diagnostics for sensors and the manual sensor test, but the menu just keeps returning to the homescreen anytime I try to execute then. I checked the Top of Page Sensor (PS215) and the Paper width sensor (PS225). Both sensor flags move freely and are clear of any obstruction. I even checked the tray 1 and tray 2 prefeed sensors, which are all moving freely and clear of any debris.
With the diagnostics not functioning and a thourough review of the paper path proving fruitless, I tried upgrading the firmware, which proved useless.
I then started replacing every part I could think of, in hopes that I'd stumble upon something. Here's what I've replaced so far:
Top of Page Sensor Board
Formatter/Engine Board
DC Controller
Tray 2 Pick-Up assembly-Twice! (The shaft was cracked, so I had to replace it, but the replacement was broken so I had to replace it again!)
Fuser
I also replaced every roller in the printer, as well as the paper seperation pads.
I'm running out of parts to replace and have completely run out of ideas on what to try.
Thanks in advance for the help!
