After 3 hours trying to get my scanner to scan ....initially on my laptop windows XP and discovering it was 32bit (that makes me sound like I have a clue but I don't, hence the 3 hours) I realised I could never set this up so opted for my iPad instead. I managed to install the app and have also managed to scan everything, and email it without a hitch. It really must be simple to use!! However, the pdf's open fine on my laptop  ( as old as the hills) but will not open on my iPad?? I've installed adobe reader just in case this was the issue although I've opened many pdf's in the past from other sources. The issue seems to be my scanned PDF. Also, in trouble shooting, it says just hold the PDF and an option will come up to open in adobe, this doesn't happen either. A window just comes up saying unable to open the PDF. After a whole morning off work trying to sort this, I'm now at a loss? Any advice, please make it very simple?!

I understand that you are unable to scan the PDF files from the printer to your iPad.

 

This issue could occur if the latest App is not installed.
