DEAR,
I recently find that my printer(hp deskjet 2549)cannot be connected to my laptop with usb, which is weird because it used to work perfectly. So i run a diagnisis and it says that my usb composite is too old for usb 3.0. Anyway i try a lot of methods like replacing the drivers, restarting the printer and updating the drivers and it's still not working. Can you tell me how to fix this.
THANKS

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP DeskJet 2549 printer. I understand that you are unable to connect the printer to the computer, and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting.
Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well,
- Restart the computer, printer, and router.
- Run the HP Print and Scan Doctor.
- Temporarily disable firewall software on the computer.
- Uninstall and reinstall the HP driver and software.
