PSC 1610 will start installing every time I switch the PC on

I downloaded the HP software for this printer.  When I try to print it will not print.  Then I unplug the printer from the PC and plug it again.  Then it starts installing again but it never goes to the HP software , it keeps on asking for the installation CD!!!!   After I force the installation it creates a new ghost copy of the printer so I can print.

Full Feature Software:  Full Feature Software V13.0.445.0 WXP-W7

BASICS

Download and save the Full Feature Software to your printer

If using USB cable to connect the printer to the computer, disconnect the cable

Control Panel > icon view > Programs and Features > Click on existing printer program(s) > Uninstall

Control Panel > icon view > Devices and Printers > Click on printer(s) > Remove device

Restart the computer and log in

Open Windows Explorer > navigate to your Downloads folder > Double-click on the software to install

If using USB, connect only when instructed during the latter part of the installation procedure

When the software is installed, Restart the computer and log in

Thanks but sorry for the delay in replying for I was travelling.  This "full feature software "has some error because when I download it I always get a message error.  I have tried many times to download it.  Any other link to it?Thanks
