When I printed a "Self Test/Configuration" page for my new LaserJet P1006, I see that there are counters for "Total Pages Printed" and "Total Jobs Printed." Can those counters be reset manually or do they reset themselves when the toner cartridge is replaced? There seems to be no mention at all in the User's Guide. I plan to switch cartridges frequently so I can print checks using a MICR toner cartridge and then switch back to normal toner for ordinary print jobs. It would be nice if I knew how many pages had been printed with each cartridge.
Thanks.
Terry

The page count on the Configuration Page should be for the printer, but the Supply Status Page has a page count that is specific to the cartridge.
I have gotten to this page by right-clicking on the printer (Control Panel > Printers), choosing "Printer Preferences", and then the "Services" tab at the far right. In the "Printer Information Pages" section, choose "Supply Status Page" and then "Print." When the page prints out, look for "Pages printed with this supply."
I've noticed that the page count doesn't always update until after you've printed a page.
I hope this helps.
