HP Photosmart C4680 All-in-One
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hi,

I have an HP Photosmart C4680 all-in-One and have been using it fairly regularly for around five years with very few problems.

However, over the last days I've been unable to print anything on 4x6 HP Advanced glossy photo paper. I've used this type of paper before with very few issues, but now no matter how carefully I feed the paper into the tray it either spits it back out after feeding it in, or else the paper gets stuck and causes a paper jam. Regular A4 paper works fine. I've tried running a paper feed clean but this made no difference. Please help.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that you are unable to print on 4x6 HP Advanced glossy photo paper.

This issue could occur paper type settings are not correctly selected before printing.

Let's go through a few steps to resolve this issue.

And here's the step by step guide for you in the link: Printing Photos (Windows)

You may also check the link: Printing Photos Using the HP All-in-One Control Panel

Let me know how that works.

Hi Rainbow23,

Thank you for the links and reponse. I don't think paper settings are the problem as I always double check the paper size/quality/borders settings in the Print Properties window before printing. I double checked everything again but the 4x6 print issue is still happeneing.

@Wixipix_46,

Thank you for your reply, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that the issue still persists after following the steps provided in the previous interaction.

This could be a hardware issue with the rollers or the sensors might be defective.

Hi Rainbow23,

Thank you for the links again. I suspect the rollers/print heads probably need cleaning but don't have time to do this at the moment. I'll let you know how things went in a few days time.
