Simple question - I have an Officejet 4650 and want to print the best photos possible (A6) of my son's wedding. What is the densest (heaviest gsm) glossy photo paper that this printer will handle?

Hi,
From its specs, it supports
Media types
Plain paper; Photo paper; Brochure
Paper Barcode scanner
20 lb
Media weights, supported
64 to 90 g/m²
Borderless printing
Yes (up to 8.5 x 11 in, 216 x 297 mm)
I would not use this printer to print photos, you need a printer which has separate color ink cartridges to print photos. My suggestion: Probably you will print a lot of photos, please select the ones you wish to print, copy to a flash card (USB drive) then go to a kiosk, they will charge much cheaper and nicer than printing at home.
Regards.

Thanks for the prompt response. But I have already printed on photo paper of 220 gsm for A4 and obtained reasonable results and when HP staff delivered and reviewed my installation of the printer, they left me with a supply of ?200 gsm A6 photo paper so obviously the "technical professionals" were of the opinion that printing good quality photos is areasonable option with this printer. The max 90 gsm weight to which you refer surely relates to normal paper printing via the feeder. I would be interested to know where you were able to access the technical specifications to which you refer as I have searched the HP site high and low for such details without success. Many thanks
