@Rachel4875269,
For me, the message appears only when operating the printer in "wireless" mode (i.e. not a problem with "Ink System" at all). I'm trying to confirm that I'm not the only one. Do you still get the message if you turn off the wireless radio on the printer and operate in "wired" mode?

To turn off the wireless radio on the printer:
1) push the Setup button on the front of the printer; 2) select Network Settings on the control panel; 3) then select Wirless Radio on the control panel to turn it on or off.
There are 2 ports on the rear of the printer next to the power cord: the smaller one is for an ethernet cable; the larger one is to connect the printer directly to a compter's USB port. (I beleive the port you referred to in the front is for connecting a camera to the printer via USB)
BTW, for my situation, I came up with a work-around that might work for you, too:
My network runs through a wireless router. Since my printer sits right next to the router, I was able to connect the printer directly to the router via the ethernet port. Since the router itself is wireless, this alleviated the need to use the wireless radio on the printer (so I just have it turned off for good). For my laptap using Windows Vista, this works perfectly. For my desktop using Windows 7, however, it was unable to find the printer on the network. But, since the desktop also sits next to the printer, I have solved this problem by connecting directly to the printer via the USB port.
So now, my laptop connects wirelessly (via the router); my desktop connects directly (via USB); and, the printer's wireless radio is turned off so that the "Ink System Failure" message doesn't return: so far, so good. When I get time to look at the Windows 7 networking problem, I'll let you know what I find.

The error code 0xc19a0035 was removed by removing all cartridges. Un pluging the power cable for 1 minute.rReplace the cartridges and plug in the power. The printer boots up with no errors.
I am operating my HP Photosmart C8180 wireless no ethernet or usb connected.
Hope this continues to work.
