Had unit working fine with original Win7 install that migrated to a win10 and still worked with all functions on HP Solution Centre. Then had a major system crash so I had to reinstall complete new [disc] Win10 op sys. Reinstalled printer from my original down loads application [AIO version130_141]. Had print functions working but scan key on unit indicated "no scan options - you need to install or run HP software for this feature".
I have researched on topic here on forum and have applied the recommended fixes:
1. Installed newest AIO file version 140_408-5
2. Installed HPPSdr
I see the newer version of HP Solution Centre now and have run the HP Print and Scan Doctor. The Scan Doctor does send a command to the printer through its diagnostics and I hear the scan bar move back and forth but the final step of a real scan test does not produce any images sent to the Solution Centre. Also I see that there is evidence of a repair done to the digital imaging monitor via a message indicating that through the diagnostics.
Additional information that might be important to note is the 2610 is connected via ethernet to my network and has been communicating successfully with two stations sending printer test pages.
Not sure what else to note right now...please help!!!
Thanks!

Forgot to add that I had seen mention of a solution to uninstall Windows update KB3132372. I am not able to find that listed under the Windows installs on my PC. I do have a very new Win10 op sys disc, so possibly would that already be incorporated on my version?
