@akuffy

I want to make sure I understand your issue.  Are you trying to enable web service so you can setup ePrint?  Have you tried the steps below.

1. Obtain your printer's IP address

a. This can be done by pressing the wireless icon on printer.

2. Enter the printer's IP address in a browser.

3. Select the network tab at the top of the page.

4. On the left select networking.

5. Select Network Address (IP)

6. Select Manual DNS Server

a. Manual Preferred DNS should read 8.8.8.8

b. Alternate DNS Server should read. 8.8.4.4

7. Select apply you might get a warning just select okay.

My problem wasn't enabling web services.  Web services were enabled in every way I could think of to test it EXCEPT I could not Scan to Email.  I could remote print using HPeprint.  I could add an email address to the list of addresses stored in the printer, and the printer would send an email with the PIN for that address.  The test of wireless services past with flying colors.  BUT, when I tried to Scan to Email, I got the message Unable to connect to web services.

The problem is fixed now.  Garytech1 send me a private email instructing me on how to do a certain kind of reset on the printer.  When I did that reset, and then initialized the printer again, everything worked.

Hi Guys,

My problem is not enabling WEB services or set up the printer. Everything works just fine and it is enabled.

When I try to scan to my E-mail address and I login with the Pin provided, I can log in but when I push the document scan button ist says that could not connect to the server and to check the internet connection.

My internet connection works because the test page says so and I also can access all of the other internet related programs. I also can scan to a computer the only thing what I can not do is to scan to an E-mail address.

Thank you for your help.

Best Regards,

Andrew

@jdjonny

Before I send them have you tried the troubleshooting steps in the posts above?  Do you have the same printer?

@garytech1

Hello,

I have the same printer with the same exact issue. I've tried both troubleshooting steps, (I also did not get a warning when applying the manual dns server) but it did notify me of it being changed. I cannot seem to find a solution. Could you please help me?

I would greatly appreciate it!

Can you access any other apps on the front panel of your printer?  Did you try the troubleshooting steps in the posts above?
