I have the same scanning problem (scanner says can't find computer, though it finds my desktop for every other function) that so many people on this page have encountered. What's worse, I applied the solution outlined when after getting the 7520 I first ran into the problem in August, and the solution worked, but now that I try to scan again, I'm back to the original problem, and the solution refuses to work.

 

Please, Gary, let me have the better solution you've emailed to other people.

i try to scan receipts from the glass on the 7520, but it gives me the following error "no connection". anybody out there know how to fix this?

This is my first post on the board, so I hope this ends up in the right place...

 

I've had the exact problems as the original poster. I've been through all of the troubleshooting you suggest, and have downloaded the scan to e-mail app. I still get the same error (Server Connection Error 403). The printer works fine except this.

 

Could you please let me know the fix?

I don't know if anybody on this forum who's reported having the problem I raised 9 days ago has had a reponse with the solution from Gary or anybody else, but I certainly haven't had one.
