Changed my router to a Tecnicolor router now the printer sees the router SSID but when I enter the WPA Passcode it indicates an error. Since the router has a WPS button I tried pushing it and the WPS button on the printer with in 2 minutes it times out with no connection. Is there new software for the printer?

Greetings @doncbj,
Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.
I understand that you are facing an issue setting up your printer after changing your router.
Don't worry, I will be glad to help you.
Kudos to you for trying to troubleshoot the issue on your own.
Are you able to make a copy on your printer? (This would let us know if the printer is working fine.)
May I know the operating system installed on your computer? (MAC or Windows)
Recommend you enter the Setup Menu on the printer front panel.
Select wireless and in the wireless settings, you will see an option to Restore Network Defaults.
Please select that and this would clear the old router settings on your printer, which will allow you to configure the printer to your new router.
As you have not mentioned the operating system of your computer.
Recommend you uninstall the printer software from your computer.
Connect the printer to your computer and install the printer using USB.
To download the printer software, please click here.
Once the printer is setup and working with the USB connection.
Please refer to this HP Article to convert the USB connection to Wireless.
Please provide the requested information for better assistance.

Thanks for the reply and trying the suggested steps, please uninstall the printer again and setup the printer using a USB cable.
Uninstall the printer from programs and features from the control panel. (Please have the printer Off and disconnected during uninstallation.)
Check in device manager, if the printer is listed there, please delete it.
Go to devices and printers, select any printer listed there and you will get some options on the top.
Click on print server properties.
You will get a popup, click on the drivers tab and delete all the HP printer drivers listed there, if any.
Delete all the instances of your printer listed in devices and printers.
Restart the PC.
Once the PC is booted to the desktop, press Win + R, it would bring a Run dialog box,
Type %temp% in the run box and click Ok or hit the Enter button.
It would bring up the temporary files folder. Delete the files in the folder (You might not be able to delete all the files, ignore them).
If possible, delete the printer from the registries using Regedit or using any other 3rd party application.
Restart the PC again.
Download the latest full feature driver from www.hp.com/drivers and install it on the computer.
Connect the printer to your computer only when the setup prompts for the printer.
Once you are able to print with USB setup, please refer to this HP Article to convert the USB setup to Wireless.
Let me know if this helped.
