Photosmart c5180

I have 3000 photos on my computer using Photosmart software. It is no longer supported. How can I put the photos in another format?

Greetings @Starich

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.

I understand that you are around 3000 photos on your computer and are looking to transfer it to another computer, is that right?

Not to worry, I will be glad to help, if you could provide more information.

May I know what is the operating system on your computer?

Are you looking to print the photos or transfer it to a memory stick or a computer?

Are you just looking to print them?

Please provide more information for assistance.

Hi Chimney_83

I am using Windows Op  7.  Would like to transfer my photos on the computer to a  currently active format and also to a external har drive. Thanks for the help.

Thanks for your reply, for you to be able to transfer any files, you would need to know the location of the files on your computer.

Once you are in the location of the files you need to transfer, just do a right-click on the file and select the option "Send to" when you have the external hard drive connected and select the external HDDin the "Send to" drop-down list.

If you are unable to find the location of the photos, please contact our phone support as they can take a remote of your computer and help you find the location of the photos.

Hope this helped.
