I ran the latest firmware update on my printer. Everything went OK and the HP Firmware utility indicated that the firmware went in without problems. I verified that I had tthe correct firmware utility first. However, I can't find the printer on the network anymore. I tried to run the HP Esaystartsoftware, but it can't find the printer. I also can't print out a status page by pressing the cancel/resume button on the top left side of the printer.

I'm worried that the printer got bricked rather than upgraded. What can I do next?

I would perform a factory reset. If the unit has a wired network adapter, connect with that and then setup the wireless again. If it does not have a wired network adapter then you wil likley need to connect the USB and then setup the wireless with the configuration utility.

Thanks for the suggestions Repairatrooper, but I can't seem to connect to the printer. USB cable or wifi does not work with the HP Easy Start software.

Is there a way to Factory Reset the printer without having to connect a computer up to it?
