Hey everybody,

 

I found this thread as I was looking for help on how to print from iPad 2 to HP Photosmart Plus 209a. I needed to print a document from the APP "Pages", but my iPad couldn't find the printer, as it is not Air-print compatible. Many of the responses in this thread keep telling to use the HP e-print APP - and yes, that's fine, but that only allows me to print documents in my files, pictures, email or web - not from Pages as I wanted it to.

 

However. I found the sollution myself! :OpenSmile: Hah!

 

Hope others will have the same use, if they are to print from another APP.

 

1) In Pages I used the "Share"-icon, and chose "Open in another app".

2) Chose the format "PDF" (to ensure that nothing would change in the document).

3) Chose "Open in HP ePrint

 

And VOILÁ!

 

Of course, you have to fullfil the other requirements, such as being on the same WIFI as the printer, and download the free app "HP ePrint" in App Store.
