@mollyamy,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that you want to print in black only from your HP DeskJet 2132 All-in-One Printer using a Mac operating system.

Let's go through a few steps to troubleshoot this issue.

  1. On your Mac, open the photo or document you want to print.

  2. Click File, and then click Print.

  3. Make sure your printer is selected.

  4. If you do not see options on the Print dialog box, click Show Details.

  5. Under Paper Type/Quality, click Color Options, and then select Grayscale.

  6. The Grayscale Mode options display. To print using only the black ink cartridge, select Black Ink Only.

  7. Click the Presets drop-down menu, and then select Save Current Settings as Preset.

  8. Type a name for the preset, select Only this printer or All printers, and then click OK. The preset is now saved in the Presets list.

Note: You must have the full feature printer software installed on your computer to change this print setting.

Let me know how this works.

You have a good day ahead.
