I've finally got my CP1518ni to print in color after upgrading to Win10. Unfortunately, the colors are faded compared to what the same printer and toner cartridges were printing prior to the OS upgrade. I printed a Supplies Status Page and all the color toner cartridges show between 20% and 30% unused toner.
Here is a test page I used:

Any ideas on what I can do to fix this?

None of the "solutions" offered work or apply.
The printer was working fine until I had to upgrade to Win10. Then everything went wrong. The only thing that changed was the OS upgrade and the downloaded HP drivers to cope with that change.
Sadly, HP feels it no longer is obligated to provide tech support for the CP1518ni. I notice it also hasn't updated its solutions to recognize that Win10 has superseded Win7, Vista, et al.

I've encountered a number of printer problems (and other office equipment) when people run the windows 10 upgrade.
I would totally uninstall all of the drivers you had previously installed for this printer, and try this Postscript UPD located here.
HP Universal Print Driver for Windows PostScript (64-bit) Version:6.2.1.20636May 05, 2016 | 6.2.1.20636 | 20.5 MB | May 5, 2016 |
This printer was designed during a different windows era, so alot of us share you pain having great office equipment cease to funtion properly. If you try to use the printer drivers that were installed before the update, something can corrupt in the driver or the code just doesn't jive- regardless, I would normally feel leary asking people to uninstall drivers, but looks like you have a useless device at the moment.

I followed your directions, to no avail. My printer won't even respond to UPD.
I am so frustrated. I bought this printer only a few years ago. That HP has already abandoned support for it IMO speaks volumes about the company. After 20 years of faithful HP ownership I swear I will NEVER buy another HP product, even if it's the last of its kind on Earth. Their printers are too damned expensive to justify abandoning their customers in this way.
