Laptop originally running Win 8.1 upgraded to 10 abt year ago. Worked fine till yesterday. Had Printer offline error message. Printer connected to Network wireless fine. Has no problem connecting. Have rebooted router, printer, and computer. Have reset printer back to default and reconnected to wireless network. Same Result. Uninstalled software, and downloaded full version and tried to install. It gets as far as choosing Wireless, USB etc.. and it can't find printer, so installation stops. Have run print doctor and it can't communicate with printer. Have run Troubleshooting you installation and it gets as far as trying to find printer and you can't go any further.
Tried to print wirelessly from my ipad, and it can't find printer either. Warranty expired this past September.
Help from anyone would be greatly appreciated, as I use it for business.

Welcome to the HP Forums. I would be happy to help you with your HP OfficeJet 8620 printer. I understand that you are getting printer offline error message and you have already done some preliminary troubleshooting.
Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well,
- Set the default printer and unpause printing.
- Install Windows update KB3147458.
- Reset the printer and check the connection status.
- Reinstall the printer using HP Printer Assistant.
