Over the last few weeks we have been getting this error message on the screen:

Printer Failure There is a problem with the printer or print system. Turn printer off, then on. If you continue to get this message contact support.

hp_error.jpgSometimes this happens immediately before it even grabs a sheet of paper, and sometimes just as it is starting to pull a sheet.

The printer is less than 8 months old. We also have a 5 year service pack on it.

I have attempted to chat with support THREE Times, and each time after 30-45 minutes, we have gotten within minutes of the agent agreeing to send out a replacement printer and them asking if it is OK to get a CC for collateral in case we do not return the old printer, the chat locks up. Then they close the case, without emailing or calling back to see

if we got disconnected.  I attempted to call support but after 30 minutes of waiting I had other work to do.

WHY is there no email address to contact !!

I have done everything they suggested from updating drivers, firmware, and doing a power reset.

What does it take to get support, or a solution without wasting hours attempting to contact someone without getting disconnected, and starting all over???

PLEASE HELP !
