Have had issues from day one with this printer... I even purchased the suggested paper to see if that would fix the issue.

The paper feed pulls the paper in crooked and jams the paper every time! Can I realign the paper feed? Please help it is extremely frustrating.

Thanks,

Sarah

I understand you are having an issue with the printer not feeding paper on your HP OfficeJet 7610 printer. I'll be really glad to help you with this,

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

Did you make any changes to the printer before the issue started?

Check for obstructions in the paper path. We recommend using a flashlight to make sure you see any smaller pieces?

For the purposes of this test, load 10 to 25 sheets of 8.5” x 11” plain white paper into the input tray.

Verify that the paper to be loaded in the printer is not ripped, dusty, wrinkled, curled, or any kind of damage on the paper.

Push the paper guides in the tray snugly but not too tight against the paper.

Ensure that Paper and tray are pushed into printer far enough to engage the feed roller.

Turn the unit’s power off, unplug the power cord and Remove the rear access door of the unit.

Clean the rollers – make sure you clean the pickup rollers and not the rear feed rollers!

In the meantime, let's try these steps here:

Please make sure that the printer is connected directly to the wall outlet and not to the surge protector.

Remove all the ink cartridges and then try to perform a hard reset on the printer.

With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

Remove USB cable, if present.

Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.

Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord and then plug back the power cord to the printer.

Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.

Now insert the ink cartridges and then try to print a test page and check if it works.

For more details, please follow the steps suggested in the support document for - An 'Out of Paper' Error Message Displays on the Computer, and the Printer Does Not Pick Up or Feed Paper - Click here

f it does not pick up the paper, then try cleaning the rollers one more time.

If it does not pick up the paper this time then the printer needs servicing.

I would personally suggest this could be a printer hardware. I would recommend you contact our HP phone support for further assistance. Please fill in the product details to get the tech support number.
