Dear HP,
I just bought printer HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 1515 this morning. after arived in home, I setup the printer well. and I try to print a photo in Glossy photo paper A4 180gr. I set the photo to full A4 size. but when I print it, the result make me disapointed. it can't print full A4 size. its only reach letter size. my photo got cut at the end of paper.
I read the printer specs before buying it. it says that the printer can print A4 size. but they dont mention about some cut at the end of paper.
my question is :
- what can I do about the problem? (i've tried the regional and language settings but it doesn't work)
- is it hardware problem or software problem?
- can i get my warranty to be replaced by new and fixed one? how?
I hope there is solution. help me on this.
thank you

Hi,
The Technical specifications list the Print Margins, the printer cannot exceed those margins as you may find listed under Paper-handling specifications > Print Margins:
As you may see below within the Paper handling setion, Borderless Printing is not supported for the printer:
This is not a defect, those are limitations of the printer as you may find listed by its specs.

Thanks for the answer, ShlomiL
okay. so it is my mistake. i didn't see the detail specification about Print Margins. after I measure it by my self, yes its exactly has 14.5 mm (0.57 inch) bottom margin. thats why I dont get the full A4. I mean of course i know it can not print borderless. but I dont expecting the bottom print margin. I think top and bottom margins will be the same size like my old printers (different brand).
btw, I've read several testimonial about this printer review. some of those are having the same disapointed feeling as me right now. just like me, Im sure they didn't read the Print Margins spec also.
maybe HP should make consumer to know this more easily. I mean people should be warning about the this print margin. because, usual printer have same top and bottom margins.
to be honest, i rather not buying this printer if had known that print margins spec :manvery-happy:
but now its too late. so I think im gona sell it and buy a printer that match my need. and ofcourse I will read the Print Margins detail carefully.
thank you Sir.

Same issue but a temporary fix by adding an extra white space to left to ensure both sides get similar margin.
refer my post here for template and how to do..
