HP Officejet J4540 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Mother purchased a printer for me in March 2010 that is still in mint condition... I have this printer connected to my Dell laptop, however, I have a HP Laptop Notebook too and the printer is not listed and it is out of warranty.  The printer still prints from the Dell and I can use it for copying. When I plug the printer into the HP Laptop via USB it is listed but it says to remove.  How can I get this printer to install onto this HP laptop via USB?  I do not want to buy another printer when I own one already.  I see the printer grayed out when I look at the printers on this HP Laptop.  I can not find my Disk that came with the Printer.  What should I do?  Thank you!
