Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite

My printer is appears to be functioning. Will print from ethernet cable, will copy, claims to be connected to my home WI fi.

Was set up using Wireless setup Wizard, which seems to have worked.  But I stiil can't print from my MacBook Pro.

Keeps telling me that my printer is 'Offline' when it is clearly switched on. The Wireless network test results say the wireless is on - PASS

Wireless working - Pass

Signal quality - Very Good

Wireless Summary seems o.k. IP address, Network etc look o.k.

Also my Mac couldn't find the device when downloading the printer driver, using HP Easy Start app . kept saying "No devices have been found". I finally managed to get the driver loaded onto my Mac using the ethernet cable.

Any suggestions as to why it cant see the printer from my MAC using the wireless network?
