HP Envy 4520
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I am a novice, sooooo here goes.  I have an HP Envy 4520 All-in-One printer.  It is not printing from my PC.  I have run the print and scan trouble shooter and when I go to print out a test print, it works and it says I am "enabled".   My warranty expired in February and when I had problems, I would use the chat line, but can't access that anymore.  I am not sure what I need to do.  Please help!!!!

Hello and welcome to the HP Forums!

This could be because of corrupt drivers or registry files. so solution would be to reinstall drivers for your printer.
But before reinstalling them will have to remove them.
Open control panel and uninstall all Hp printer applications.
Restart your computer so that changes could take place.
Visit below website and download latest drivers for your printer

Hp Envy 4520 drivers       https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-envy-4520-all-in-one-printer-series/5447920/mode...

Before you try to print make sure your printer is set to default.

PCA,

Thanks for your help.  I tried what you suggested and still no luck.  I installed Basic 64 and Full Web pack.  I am not sure I am doing it correctly.  What I do know is that I still cannot get the printer to print.

Hello,

We can try a diffrent way out to install the printer now.

First remove all Hp Printer drivers from pc from control panel.

Then restart your computer.

GoTo Control panel- Devices and printer- Add a Printer

Select port and then select your printer manufacturer and model number to add it.

Follow instructions on the screen to complete installation.
