ENVY 6400e

When choosing to get a printer in place of another printer that is under warranty, does it have to be the same printer? How do I get the process started? I have had way to many problems with the Hp Envy 6400e series and I'm not sure I even want the same printer. Can somebody please direct me on how to go about solving this issue?

@Charisma-Banks, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

If the printer is under warranty, and if HP Support concludes there is a hardware issue with the printer, you will be offered a replacement of the same model printer.

There is no option of getting a different model printer as a replacement under warranty. Once it has been replaced, the warranty will be transferred to the replacement printer.

I hope that answers your concern adequately. Let me know!
