Photosmart C5280 All in one printer

I have upgraded my desktop computer and trying to install the printer driver for my old Photosmart C5280 printer.   Online I was advised to download the HP Print Doctor - which took me another page which said to download the  Diagnostic and tool fixes for drivers.  - This downloaded the HP Print Doctor - so I was going round in circles, but still unable to down load the driver for anything in the C5200 series

Please can anyone help.

Thanks

I have the same issue and the print doctor link to "Get Install" for the full installation sw does not work. I suspect that HP hasn't bothered updating the driver. I have used a couple of hours on HP'ssupport pages without any result.  I ended up using this link:

adding a printer and letting Windows update its driver list. It will not find 5280, but I installed 8100 instead and that seems to work, at least for printing. I have not tried scanning yet.
