Printer not accepting new ink cartridge

HP Recommended
HP Deskjet 3630
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hi,

I have bought a new black ink cartridge (302XL) for my HP Deskjet 3630.

I have tried installing it many times, but the printer doesn’t detect it.

I tried all sorts of stuff including cleaning the cartridge, resetting the printer, align the printer under HP maintenance.. basically everything but it doesn’t work!

There is a time when the printer detects the ink, and I have printed my stuff but end up is a page of messy words, see attached photo.

After that, the printer couldn’t detect the ink again. I’m suspecting that the problem comes from my printer. Please help me!

Thank you in advance.

Dear HP,

I´m using now printer HP DeskJet 3630 series on Win10. Not too long. Now it is time to replace cartridge. I look to internet pages and choose cartridge 302 as recommended in my country.

https://h22203.www2.hp.com/SureSupply/?AppName=CustomerCare_docs&searchTerm=HP-DeskJet-3636-All-in-O...

Problem start during replacement. To finish setting I need to download aditional printer software. During registration I did not find my country (Slovak) and choose next acceptable for me (Czech). I try to finalize toner replacement. Software show my that new toner cartridge is not compatibile. Printing is not possible.

On same link below I try to change country code to Czech republic.

Surprise ? Recommendation to buy cartridge 652 !

I suppose printer is able to use both ink cartridge types 302 & 652.

Only software limitation is problem.  Confirm this I place back old (almost emtpy) cartridge 652 back and everytin fine!

I finish one page printing (but missing blue ink totaly empty).

My question  is how I can tell to printer , that I´m in Slovak republic and I would like to use 302 ink cartridge.

P.S: I understand bussines reasons, but I suppose this is not good solution. On cartridge packaging is clear statement that 302 toner is recommended for HP DeskJet 3630 series printers. No limitations!

I appreciate your comment in case I should use any other specific language settings or specific region settings.

P.S.2  Printer is very good and easy to use, I would like to use it longer, but witout troubles.

Best Regard

MarVav
