I've recently unsubscribe from the HP plan and whilst I have purchased compatible ink for my printer, it looks that I simply cannot print anymore since I have unsubscribed to this awful and expensive plan!
I receive an error message saying that my cartridges are not compatible and I keep getting a light saying that the ink cartdrige is empty. I get an error message to say the printer is busy when I have this ink in, which is shutting down communication to the printer so it won't accept anything. Is there a way around this? I have not done anything wrong by using a compatible ink but seems completely lousy that HP do this.
The printer was working fine until I unsubscribe to this ink plan and I know that it's not a problem with the hardware of the printer as I've perfectly fine ink here.
Fed up of trying to simply print on this HP device! So if there is any fix, I'd really appreciate it.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,
Firstly, make sure you replace all the ink cartridges on the printer with regular ink cartridges. Even if a single instant ink cartridge is installed on the printer your printer might not work.
Next stop Web Services on the printer.
- HP Instant Ink > How to > Instant Ink > Manage Account > Turning Off Web Services
- Optional - be sure Web Services is "off":
- After you switch off Web Services, wait a minute and then switch off the printer.
- Wait until the printer is completely shut down > wait a minute or two.
- Switch on the printer.
Install all new HP ink -- replacing/installing "a" new ink won't do it -- all Instant Ink cartridges must be removed regardless of whether they have ink.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
