Envy 5646
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My Envy 5646 has stopped printing.  I have removed all traces of it and reinstalled.  Still not working.  It is connected wirelessly and this has been checked.  Print and Scan Doctor and HP troubleshooting has not found anything.  Looking back over other posts I found one which told me to rename .dll files but one at least is missing   HPBXRENDER.dll.  I am at a loss as to what else to do.  Anyone got any bright ideas or is it a visit to the tip?

I’d suggest a clean install to try and fix the HP driver issue.
First, unplug the USB cable from the printer if present.
Go to Control panel – Programs and Features – Select all the HP printer entries and uninstall them.
Go to Control panel – Devices and Printers – Select all the HP printer entries and remove the device.
Press the windows key + r to get the Run window open - type printui.exe /s
Under print server properties, go to drivers - remove any HP entry there as well.
Press the windows key + r to get the Run window open - type c:/programdata
Go to HP folder, remove all HP printer related folders & files.
Restart your computer.
Install the HP driver.

What happens when you try to access the EWS using the IP of the printer.

Sorry you've lost me there - how do I do that?

HP Recommended

Print a network status report from the printer panel.

On it you will find the printer IP. (ie. 192.168.x.x)

Enter this IP into your browser.

What happens?

thank you, I didn't realise that is what you wanted.  I had already done that and the browser just shows up the usual load of web pages ie Lifewire,  dnslytics etc etc

Now when I try to print I receive a User Intervention error message which I have not noticed before.  Is that part of the trouble.  Ir shows http://[fe80::b25a;FE67;568a511];3911/Comment  Whether it was there originally when the problem started I am not sure, maybe I just did not notice it.  Thanks for your continuing help

Apologies  have just realised I put it in the search box not search bar.  I can only get the EWS page up in Bing not Opera or  IE apologies again
