Office Jet Pro 696

Hi,

printer keeps coming up with Printhead problem, stating that there is a problem with the printhead. I cannot seem to resolve this. Have turned machine off, removed and re-instated inks, all has no effect. Machine is brand new

Thanks

Hi @David-9,

Have you tried resetting the printer:

  1. Press the Power button () to turn off the printer.
  2. Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  3. Wait 60 seconds.
  4. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
  5. Press the Power button () to turn on the printer.

If that doesn'tt resolve it, I'd advise contacting hp support as you may require a replacement under warrenty.

Can you please post back to let me know how you get on.

Thanks
