How do I insert an envelope in the printer to print it correctly. I did not receive a user's manual when I received the printer one month ago.

Hello mypetu39,
Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand you would like to know how to insert an envelope using the Envy 4500. I will do my best to assist you! First, what size envelope are you using and what program are you printing from?
I am going to provide the Manual here to help you. On page 16, tells you information on how to print envelopes: (This information is stated here.)
1. Make sure the paper tray is open.
2. Slide the paper-width guides all the open.
3. Place the envelopes in the center of the paper tray. The side to be printed on should face down.
The flap should be on the left side.
4. Push the envelopes into the printer until they stop.
5. Slide the paper-width guides firmly against the edge of the envelopes.
(Should look like this.)
Also, you need to change the print settings within the program you're printing from: (This information is stated also here.)
1. On the File menu in your software, click Print.
2. Make sure your printer is selected.
3. Click the button that opens the Properties dialog box. Depending on your software application, this button might be called Properties, Options, Printer Setup, Printer Properties, Printer, or Preferences.
4. Select the appropriate options:
5. On the Layout tab, select Portrait or Landscape orientation.
6. On the Paper/Quality tab, select the appropriate paper type from the Media drop-down list
7. the Tray Selection area, and then select the appropriate print quality in the Quality settings area.
8. Click Advanced to select the appropriate paper size from the Paper Size drop-down list.
9. Click OK, then click Print
Please post your results, as I will be looking forward to hearing from you. Have a great day!
