I have been trying to print envelopes with Access (another MS Office product) with an HPLaser Jet Pro MFP M277dw. I had it working at one time. My suggestion to Microsoft or HP or who ever suppies driver for printers is to elimiante all the auto sizes and just let us print based on margin sizes and envelope sizes. We can all measure the size of an envelope with a ruler. Sometimes help is not help at all. (This kind of stuff that OUGHT to be simple drives me crazy with its complexity...or impossibility!!!)

As I understand you are having issues printing Envelopes using Microsoft Word on your HP LaserJet Printer. Don't worry as I have a few steps to help you get through this concern,

Let's try these steps here:

With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

Remove USB cable, if present.

Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.

Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord and then plug back the power cord to the printer.

Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.

Print a single envelope in Microsoft Word for Windows using the Mailings tools. Additionally, most Word versions include a searchable collection of templates for many envelope types and designs when you click File > New.

These steps use Word 2013 as an example. The steps and menus might be different or unavailable in other versions of Word.

  1. In Microsoft Word, click Mailings, then click Envelopes.

       NOTE:

To use advanced Mailings tools to print multiple envelopes and use the Mail Merge feature, go to Microsoft Office: Mail merge with envelopes (in English).

Figure : Select Envelopes in the Microsoft Word Mailings menu

Select Envelopes in the Microsoft Word Mailings menu
  2. In the Envelopes and Labels window, type the address in the Delivery address field, then type in the return address in the Return address field.

  3. Click Preview.

    The Envelope Options window opens.

  4. Select the envelope size and change the font type and size, if necessary.

Select the envelope size and address font
  5. Click the Printing Options tab, select the feed method and the tray based on your printer type, then click OK.

  6. Click Print.

I hope this should help. Let me know how it goes for further assistance.
