HP LaserJet M209dw Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This morning the printer stopped working. Just the "i" button keeps flashing and when I pushed it, the printer prints a message " A problem has occurred and you will be unable to print, except for printer reports, until the issue is resolved."

I already tried reseting, uninstall and install again. Unplugging, waiting and plugging back again

Hi @JulianGS,

I'd like to help!

I understand the information button (i) on the printer is blinking

Try the below suggestions -

Reset the product

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
  • Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.

Try updating the printer's firmware -HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware

Also, try the steps in the document Blinking lights

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
