My new Envoy 7640 is not printing or testing in color .. Brand new printer

Hello, 

 

I hope you have downloaded and installed the printer software before starting to print.

 

However try the below steps to check if the issue printer related.

  • Try making a Color Copy of a document/ picture . If it works fine then the printer has no issues. try the below steps.
  • obtain the Printer software for HP ENVY 7640 printers: http://123.hp.com/ENVY7640

Still will not allow me pirnt in color , everything pring in black and white .

Hello, 

 

Please try the below step.

 

Place a photo on the scan glass ( print side facing down )

On the front panel of your printer, 

Press the Copy (icon)  > Document > Start Color 

If the issue still persists, then click here to access the steps that should resolve the issue.

 

If Copy works fine and not when you print using a computer, then click HERE to access steps that should resolve the issue.
