@Ruthers

A very warm welcome to the HP community. A very good day to you.

I understand that you have an HP ENVY 5546 All-in-One Printer and have a greeting cards package. I read that when you print a card on a photo paper, it shifts slightly and the card comes out a bit skewed. Not to worry, I'll do my best to help you.

I would like to know the following information to assist you better:

  • How is the printing on normal plain paper?
  • What is the card paper size?
  • Have yo tried printing from another application and selected the correct paper type and paper size?

Meanwhile, I did some research and found the supported card size papers:

Please perform the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:

  • Disconnect the power cable from the printer while the printer is still ON.
  • Disconnect any other cables if connected the printer.
  • Press and hold the printer’s power button for 15 seconds.
  • The printer should be directly connected to the wall outlet and not to a surge protector. Reconnect the power cable to print and the printer should power ON by itself. If the printer doesn’t power ON then please manually power it ON.

If the issue persists then please performing the following steps:

  • Open Devices and Printers.
  • In the Devices and Printers window, right click on your printer and select "Printing Preferences."
  • In the Printing Preferences window, please locate the paper type/quality tab. In that tab you should get the options to select the correct paper type and quality.
  • Click on Apply and OK.
  • Please print.

I sincerely hope this fixes the issue. Let me know what happens. Cheers!
