Hello. Im having this exact same issue with the HP OfficeJet 3830. I just purchased and installed this printer in Jan 2017, its had the issue since installation. Again, doesnt matter the program, size of print, settings, itcreates a border on the right hand side of the page, cutting off whatever should be there, as others have stated, with different models. Please advise how to correct. Thankyou.

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.Thank you for posting your query.I read your post I see that you've print quality issues.Thank you for sharing the issue details. I will certainly do my best to help you.

Let's try these simple steps to resolve the issue:

Step 1: Select fit to page, select the correct photo paper size and try printing.

Step 2: Try to print from the different application.

Step 3: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, try uninstalling and reinstalling the full feature software.

Let's try to fix the issue by uninstalling and reinstalling the printer driver software by the following method.

Step 1:

Uninstalling the Printer from the computer.

1> In Windows search for and open Programs and features

2>Select your HP Printer

3>Select Uninstall

4>In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers.

5>In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP Printer.

If you see it listed right-click on it and choose 'Delete or 'Remove Device'

6>Open up the run command with the "Windows key +R" key combo.

7>Type printui.exe /s and click ok

8>Click on the "drivers" tab.

9>Look for Hp Printer driver.If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom

10>Select Ok

11>Select Apply and Okon the Printer Server Properties windows

12>Close Devices and printers.

Step2: Please refer the link to download the full feature software: http://hp.care/2kDWMCg (Please select the operating system and version on your PC)

 

Please complete the steps and let me know the outcome.
