HP Officejet4500

Is there some way to adjust the Officejet 4500 to print slightly thicker envelopes? I have printed on envelopes many times before - but the wedding invitation envelopes I must print this weekend (don't ask) seem a bit thicker and they get stuck in the printer.

A fast and detailed reply would be appreciated!!!

Thanks!

Debbie

@dlesko,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that you are unable to print envelopes from your HP Officejet 4500 All-in-One Printer as it gets stuck in the unit.

This issue could occur if the envelope is not supported.

The supported weight of the envelope by the unit is 75 to 90 g/m2 (20 to 24 lb bond envelope).

If the weight is correct, you may follow the steps in the links to print envelopes:

1. Printing Envelopes (Mac)

2. Printing Envelopes (Windows)

Also, let us know the operating system installed on the computer from the links below:

1. Click Here if it is a Windows PC

2. Click Here if it is a Mac PC

Let me know how this works.

You have a good day ahead.
