HP 8710
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I received my "new" (refurbished) HP 8710 the other day and when I ordered it, I was told by the tech in India that this model can print on transparent film. I now see no choise of that on the scroll-down menu of Paper Type selections. Was I misinformed or is there indeed another option for this type of media?

The Datasheet for this series does not include Transparency style "paper" in the supported Media types (kind of paper).

The MAIN reason I up-graded to this printer was specifically to print on transparent film! The numb skull in India said this model does just that. What do I do now? Go through all the hassle of repacking it and sending it back??

TRUST NO ONE! THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE!! BUT IT'S SURE AS HELL'S NOT IN NEW DELHI, INDIA!!!
