We recently bought a photosmart 6510 All in one wireless printer. We are running windows 7 64-bit on our computer. We have a bunch of Kodak extralife photo paper from a kodak printer that we are wanting to use with our new printer. Every time we print a picture it looks like the ink is just sitting on top of the paper, very blotchy and it never dries. We have tried setting it to print with every kind of photo paper that is listed in the advanced properties and its always the same. Is there any way to print on this Kodak paper, or are we just out of luck. Thanks for any help.

We are having the exact same problem. I happened to have one sheet of HP paper (from an even older HP photo printer and it seemed to print just fine. So I think the Kodak stuff (I have a lot of it too) is just not compatible with the HP 6510. I'm going to get some other paper tomorrow and see what works.

I tried 4x6" 58lb HP glossy photo paper and it did not work on my Laserjet CP1025nw. I had really good luck with Hammermill 8 1/2 x 11 color laser gloss 32lb 94 brightness, but you don't have the thickness, but you get a really nice print.

if you still have the Kodak extralife 4x6 paper for photo, I would be interested in getting it from you. Let me know. I will have you ship it to my dads, he has a printer that uses that paper and now they dont make it any more. Reply to {Personal Information Removed}. Thanks
