Just got this new printer/scanner etc. and like all the others it is stuck on Initializing... when reboot or turn on (have done hard reset etc) the printer cartridges just grind and wont turn. I have tried manually turning but isnt working.
So frustrated as I need this printer to print and its not! Please can you advise ASAP. I am based in the UK
Thanks

Brand new out-of-the-box M177fw printer with same problems as reported by others: grinding gear startup noises and forever stuck on "Initializing". Attempted hard power resets, pulled toner cartridges one by one with attempted power drain resets each time, updated firware to version 20150228 - all without any success in resolving startup failure issues.
Please send the super secret extra step.
